George Hofstetter, a Bay Area teen and Founder of George Hofstetter Technologies, Inc., has created an app — called Cop Stop Coach — to help bridge the gap between police and the citizenship. The app is design to add greater transparency into police-citizen encounters. The app allows the user to video the encounter, alert family and friends of the encounter and rate the cop that was involved in the encounter – which can be reviewed by other users.
