King T’Challa returns home to Wakanada, after Super Heroes’ Civil War, to be the country’s king — but factions within the country are trying try to keep that from happening. Black Panther fights to prevent Wakanda from going into a civil war. The super hero joins forces with CIA and Dora Milaje .
The Dora Milaje are the personal bodyguards of the Black Panther, comprised of superior Wakandan  women — who are also potential queens for the unmarried king, and they only speak to the king or one another.
Now that you know the storyline, what’s going on with African-Americans? Are we hyped or what?  The internet is all a buzz about the movie. Some folks are even saying they are taking February 16th off, in order to make that day a holiday and to see the movie. Twitter is all a buzz with #blackpanther .
Are ya’ll going to see the movie?
Are you taking off from work?
With the current sick political climate, this looks to be they type of entertainment that the doctor has ordered! We need Black Panther now more than we ever did. Check out this column by Byron McCauley, who helps explain why.
