Food Brings the African American Culture Together

With the holidays approaching — as African Americans — it’s a great time to think about one of the core pillars of our culture. That pillar is food. African American culture revolves around food an especially that commonality of what food represents. Although there are regional differences in the nuance of the Black-food culture, they all have roots in what brings all African Americans together as a cultural group and that commonality is slavery.
